My passion for people and wanting to make a difference goes back a long way. With a 20 year career in public relations, sales and marketing and communications, the focus has always been on people. I’m fascinated by what makes them tick, what motivates them and what holds them back.

My route into life coaching started with years of personal development – exploring who I am – I took a year off to travel the world in 1992 (and have kept on travelling ever since); I’ve been a bereavement counsellor with Cruse since 1996 and trained as a neuro linguisitic programming (NLP) Practitioner in 2002. After being coached for over a year, I trained as a life coach myself with the European Coaching Foundation (now Rivas Palmer). I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and am working towards my international accreditation. I continue to work with my own life coach as I feel it’s important to practice what I preach.

All of this means I have good skills in listening, empathy, facilitation and negotiation, which I bring to my coaching. I am encouraging and supportive, challenging and insightful. I use my intuition to confirm what’s being said (and more importantly what’s not being said).

I work primarily with professional women of 40 plus to help you discover who you really are and lead a more fulfilling life. My role through Emerging Potential is to help you find your passion, follow your path and fulfil your purpose.

We can work together over the phone or face to face from my cottage near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. I also work from the Cheltenham Holistic Health Centre one day a week.
